Tool Data Is Never Sent

The online ruler is a client-side web application: your calibration results, measurements, and preferences are never sent to our servers. All measurement functionality runs entirely within your web browser.

Local Storage

Your calibration profile (PPI value, method used), unit preference, and theme setting are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is only accessible to this website on your browser.

Google Analytics Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic statistics. Google sets a cookie (e.g. _ga) to distinguish unique visits. The data collected is only page-usage statistics — measurement and calibration data from the tool is never transmitted. To disable analytics, use your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out extension.

Third-Party Services

One third-party service is used on this site: Google Analytics (traffic statistics). Fonts are served from our own servers, not from an external provider. No advertising or ad-network scripts are loaded, and your calibration data remains on your device.
